Alkacon Software has finished work on the final release of OpenCms 5.0.1, the open source content management system.

Alkacon Software offers an <STRONG>Upgrade Distribution</STRONG> to upgrade a running OpenCms 5.0.0 system to 5.0.1 without having to re-install OpenCms.

By popular demand, the <A href="/en/download/contributions.html" >Modules sandbox </A>has been added to the Download section. Preliminary but still useful versions of OpenCms modules developed by the community can now be made available in the sandbox.

The OpenCms online user help is now available in German.

The OpenCms Workplace is now available in French.

The OpenCms Workplace is now available in Spanish.

After the successful release of OpenCms 5.0 (which was downloaded over 1000 times within 48 hours after the release) <A href="http://www.alkacon.com/" >Alkacon Software</A> has started development on the next version of OpenCms.
